The Brower Youth Awards honors David Brower as an environmental advocate. In order to get this scholarship a student has to demonstrate environmental leadership.
This scholarship not only provides monetary awards but along with monetary awards one also gets to shoot a short film about their work and stay in the San Francisco Bay Area for a week.

The eligibility criteria for this scholarship is:
One must have a GPA of 2.8 or higher.
One needs to demonstrate leadership abilities in school activities or through work experience.
One should be involved in community service.
One should plan to attend an accredited non profit college, university, or vocational/technical school in the U.S.

The James W. Lewis Leadership Award is for students who demonstrate leadership qualities in one of many parts of their community, whether it’s advocating for more diversity or creating innovative businesses.

Only finalists are asked to submit a video about themselves.
