About the Scholarship

This award is for Minnesota resident students who have a child 12 years old or younger and are attending or planning to attend a Minnesota public or private postsecondary institution. The student must demonstrate financial need and cannot have completed four years of postsecondary education. Application requirements for the Minnesota Child Care Grant are:Application form

Eligibility Criteria

This award is for U.S. students. Must be a resident of Minnesota. Must have a child 12 years of age or younger, or 14 years of age or younger with a disability, needing child care service on a regular basis. Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen. Must not have completed four years of postsecondary education. Students who have withdrawn for active military service after Dec. 31, 2002, are given an extra term of eligibility. Must be enrolled at least half-time, taking at least six credits per quarter, semester, or the equivalent. Must be enrolled at a Minnesota postsecondary institution that is eligible to participate in the Postsecondary Child Care Grant program. Eligible institutions are all public postsecondary schools and private, baccalaureate degree granting colleges and universities located in Minnesota, or nonprofit, two-year vocational schools granting associate degrees.In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:Sign Up To View
