Eligibility Criteria
This award is for U.S. students. Must be a resident of Kansas. Must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Must pursue a career in nursing. Must enroll six hours or more per semester. Preference will be given to full-time students. Must attend a college or university in Kansas. Must be a U.S. citizen. The scholarship shall be given according to the following priorities: R.N.s pursuing B.S.N.s; graduate students in nursing education, nursing administration, or adult education programs with priority given to master's level then doctoral level; non-academic nursing or nursing-related programs leading to a certificate; students enrolled in undergraduate BSN programs; and students enrolled in undergraduate ADN programs. Students enrolled in a graduate or certification program for clinical nurse specialists, nurse practitioners, nurse midwives and nurse anesthetists are not eligible.
