Eligibility Criteria
This award is for U.S. students. Must be a resident of one of the 26 northernmost counties of the Texas panhandle. Must attend Amarillo College or West Texas A&M University. Must exhibit integrity, thriftiness, ambition, good moral character, and a sincere desire to achieve a higher level of education in the field of nursing. Must enroll as a full-time student. Must be currently enrolled in an Associate of Applied Science, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (in his/her junior or senior year) or a Masters of Science program.
