About the Scholarship

High school seniors or older students who are the dependents of current/retired NASA employees are eligible for this award. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and plan to pursue a course of study in a science or engineering field that will lead to a recognized undergraduate degree at an accredited college or university in the United States. Application requirements for the NASA College Scholarship Fund are:Application form Official Transcript Recommendation letter (3) SAT/ACT scores (if not on transcript)

Eligibility Criteria

This award is for U.S. students. Must must be the dependent of current/retired NASA employees or employees with NASA for a period of two years as of January of the current year. There is no minimum period of employment requirement for eligible dependents of former NASA employees or former reimbursable detailees who died while employed by NASA. Must have a combined high school and college (if any) grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Must pursue a course of study in a science or engineering field that will lead to a recognized undergraduate degree at an accredited college or university in the United States. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
