About the Scholarship

This award is available for college sophomores, juniors, and seniors who are enrolled in a curriculum leading to a bachelor's of science degree in animal science, meat science, food science or a related discipline at an accredited four-year college or university. Students must maintain a grade point average of 2.75 or higher and remain in good academic standing during the term of the scholarship. Eligibility Criteria

This award is for international and U.S. students. Must have a grade point average of 2.75 or higher at time of application. The recipient must maintain a grade point average of 2.75 or higher and remain in good academic standing during the term of the scholarship. Must be enrolled in 12 units or more per semester. Must be enrolled in a curriculum leading to a bachelor's of science degree in animal science, meat science, food science or a related discipline at an accredited four-year college or university. The applicant should be considering a career in the meat industry. Must be a college sophomore, junior, or senior who is enrolled in an approved program at the time the scholarship becomes effective. Freshmen students may apply but must be sophomores at the time the scholarship becomes effective; senior students must enroll as undergraduates for two consecutive semesters (or equivalent ) beyond the effective date (Sept.1) of the scholarship.In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:Sign Up To View
