About the Scholarship

The NDAF / Dr. Bessie Delaney Scholarship of $10,000 is named in honor of Dr. Annie Elizabeth “Bessie” Delaney, who among other accomplishments, was the only Black female in her DDS graduating class in 1923 Columbia University. Eligibility Criteria

Must be a female. Must be a resident of the United States. Must be pursuing additional degree in a sub-specialty of dentistry in one of our priority areas such as: public health, administration, pediatrics, research, law, etc. Must be a post doctoral student.
