About the Scholarship

The Nebraska Opportunity Grant is awarded by the Nebraska Coordinating Commission for Postsecondary Education (NCCPE), a business institution that enables the public and businesses to do safe and efficient businesses with the government.

The Nebraska Opportunity Grant offers financial assistance to the U.S. students to complete their further studies in Nebraska. This program helps the eligible candidates to get into the college/university of their choice and enter a program suitable to them, with no financial barriers.

Scholarship Amount

The Nebraska Opportunity Grant provides monetary rewards up to $4000 each, every year.

Eligibility Criteria

The applicants applying for the Nebraska Opportunity Grant must be:

  • a U.S. high school senior or older.
  • a resident of Nebraska.
  • a U.S. citizen or an eligible non-citizen.
  • eligible to receive a Federal Pell grant or have an Expected Family Contribution of no more than the yearly maximum EFC of $6300, as determined by the State of Nebraska.
  • enrolled in an undergraduate program at a participating Nebraska public or private postsecondary institution.
