About the Scholarship
The purpose of the Teacher Loan-For-Service program is to proactively address New Mexico’s teacher shortage by providing students with the financial resources to complete or enhance their post-secondary teacher preparation education. Eligibility Criteria
Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen. Must be a resident of New Mexico. Must be enrolled at least half time. Must be accepted into a teaching program or an alternative licensure teacher preparation program. Must be a high school graduate or older.
