About the Scholarship
New York Times College Scholarship is organized by the New York Times to provide scholarships to New York City high school students who have excellent academic while overcoming hardship or other difficult circumstances.
How to Apply
All applicant needs to fill in the online application that can be found on the official website of the New York Times or at the guidance office of the eligible school. In addition to the complete application, students have to submit details about community service, work experience, and extracurricular activities, academics honors, and an essay of no more than two pages explaining about his/her significant academic achievement and challenges or obstacles that applicant has overcome.
The Scholarship awards $15,000 to ten applicants for the full academic year and is renewable.
All applicants need to apply for this scholarship before November 12, 2019. All applications and related documents must be received online by the deadline date.
Current high school seniors who attend a public, parochial or private school in New York City.
