About the Scholarship
NFMC Dorothy Dann Bullock Music Therapy Award is sponsored by the State of Wisconsin Higher Educational Aids Board. The foundation was established in 1898. The organization is widely the largest music organization and is the only music organization member of the United Nations.
NFMC gives opportunities for students in musical study, performance, and appreciation. Dedicated to finding and fostering young musical talent and also provides opportunities for study and performance to musicians with disabilities and visual impairments.
How to apply for this scholarship?
The applicants applying for this scholarship program must have been completed their FAFSA application form.
Applicants must be a member of NFMC individually or in any groups before the applications are accepted
Students must give a letter of recommendation and a personal statement describing their qualifications and ethics, and an official transcript describing their previous school or college and must maintain a minimum GPA.
- Students must demonstrate financial need.

This scholarship program provides $1400 anually which is nonrenewable.
Total of one award is offered by this scholarship every year.
The applications are to be submitted by the end of March 01, 2020. Applications and other related informations are available on the National Federation of Music Clubs (NFMC) website.
Applicants must be college students majoring in music therapy in schools approved by the National Association of Music Therapists and AMTA.
The application selection is based on musical talent, skills, and training with an emphasis on piano ability in accompanying and sight-reading.
Applicant selection criteria are self-reliance, leadership, the ability to work with groups and dedication to music therapy as a career.
Applicants must be members of the National Federation of Music Clubs.
