About the Scholarship
The University System of North Dakota offers financial assistance to its residents who are pursuing an undergraduate degree in a qualified private, public or tribal college or university in the form of North Dakota State Student Incentive Grant Program.
The grant program, also known as the State Grant Program is awarded to students who are enrolled in an eligible educational institution for a program in any qualifying field for at least quarter-time.
North Dakota State Student Incentive Grant Program Awards
On the basis of the enrolment status of the applicant, the grant amount varies from $733 per quarter to $1100 per semester.
The grant program can be received by a student for more than once.
The applicant must be enrolled for 8 to 12 quarters as a full-time or equivalent undergraduate student during the period of the grant program.
The applicant must use the amount received to get a baccalaureate degree at least.
North Dakota State Student Incentive Grant Program Application
The applicants of the grant program must register and complete the FAFSA procedures.
The applicant must be a high school graduate or equivalent qualification as per the financial aid office.
North Dakota State Student Incentive Grant Program Application Deadline
The application process must be completed before the deadline of the grant program. The FAFSA application procedures commence on 1st October, every year.
Applicant must be a high school graduate of the state
Applicant must have graduated from a high school in a bordering state pursuant to N.D.C.C. ch. 15.1-29
Applicant must have received a general educational development high school diploma (GED) from the North Dakota Superintendent of Public Instruction.
