About the Scholarship

This scholarship is open to high school seniors who reside or attend high school in selected northern Vermont counties and have overcome a significant challenge or hardship. Applications must have a grade point average of 3.25 or higher and demonstrate community involvement/service. Eligibility Criteria

This award is for U.S. students. Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen. Must be a resident of Vermont. Must be a high school senior who will earn a diploma or GED by the start of the upcoming school year. Must enroll in an undergraduate program on a half-time (six credits per term) or higher basis. Must reside or attend high school in Addison, Caledonia, Chittenden, Essex, Franklin, Grand Isle, Lamoille, Orange, Orleans, or Washington counties in Vermont. Must demonstrate outstanding academic achievement with a grade point average of 3.25 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
