About the Scholarship

This award is available for U.S. citizens who are residents of Whatcom/Skagit, Kitsap County, Pierce County, Clark County, Black Hills, Inland Northwest, Southern Idaho or Columbia Basin. Preference is given to self-identified LGBT students, members of LGBT families, and straight allies who have been supportive of the LGBT community. Eligibility Criteria

This award is for U.S. students. Must be a U.S. citizen. Must be a resident of an area outside of King County where the Pride Foundation working to enhance the leadership of the LGBT and allied community: Alaska, Black Hills, Clark County, Columbia Basin, Columbia Willamette, Inland Northwest, Montana, Northwest Washington, Pierce County, Southern Idaho, and Washington Peninsulas. Must be a high school senior, undergraduate, or graduate student at time of application. Preference is given to students who are self-identified lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgendered; members of LGBT families; or allies who have been strongly supportive of the LGBT community.
