About the Scholarship
This scholarship is available for South Carolina resident high school seniors who are planning to attend an eligible South Carolina institution. Students must have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher and an SAT score of 1200 or higher or an ACT score of 27 or higher, and rank in the top six percent of their class; students may also qualify with a grade point average of 4.0 or higher and an SAT score of 1400 or higher or an ACT score of 32 or higher. Eligibility Criteria
This award is for U.S. students. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident. Must be a legal resident of South Carolina. Must have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher and rank in the top six percent of the high school class OR have a grade point average of 4.0 or higher with an SAT score of 1400 or higher or an ACT score of 32 or higher. Must have an SAT score of 1200 or higher or an ACT score of 27 or higher. Must not have been convicted of any felonies or any alcohol or drug-related misdemeanor offenses. Must be accepted to an eligible public or private four-year institution in South Carolina. Must be a high school senior at time of application.
