About the Scholarship

This award is available to South Carolina resident undergraduate students who are attending a South Carolina Independent college or university. The student must demonstrate financial need and satisfy the following requirements: an incoming freshmen must graduate in the top 75% of your high school graduating class or score at least 900 on the SAT Test (Math & Critical Reading Sections Only) or 19 Composite on the ACT Test or graduate from high school with a GPA of at least 2.00. Eligibility Criteria

This award is for U.S. students. Must be a resident of South Carolina. Must attend one of the twenty-one participating independent colleges located in the state of South Carolina. Must enroll full time (12 or more credit hours per term/semester). Must be a U.S. citizen or an eligible non-citizen. Must graduate in the upper 75 percent of the high school class, or have an SAT score of 900 or higher on the math and critical reading sections or an ACT score of 19 or higher, or have a final high school grade point average of 2.0 or higher. Must be a graduating high school senior or older and have not yet received a bachelor’s degree.
