About the Scholarship
The Stephen J. Brady Stop Hunger Scholarships are offered by the Sodexo Foundation, an initiative that provides young children with access to healthy and nutritious food. The goal of this foundation is to make food available to each and every young being in the U.S. so that they may live a happy life.
The Stephen J. Brady Stop Hunger Scholarships aims at reducing global hunger through using their facilities and capabilities to the full extent.
How to Apply?
The application to apply for the Stephen J. Brady Stop Hunger Scholarships can be found online on the official website of the Sodexo Foundation.
Multiple, incorrect or incomplete applications will not be considered.
The respective documents must be submitted via an email only, on or before the deadline date.
The Stephen J. Brady Stop Hunger Scholarships provide five monetary rewards amounting to $5000 each, every year.
Apart from the winners of the scholarship, 20 eligible individuals, labeled as the Honorees, along with the 5 winners will be named as the grant-writer of the same amount they received, to any local charity they please.
The deadline date to submit the respective documents to be considered for the Stephen J. Brady Stop Hunger Scholarships is on December 5.
The applicants aspiring to be considered for the Stephen J. Brady Stop Hunger Scholarships must:
- be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident between the ages of 5 and 25.
- be enrolled in an accredited U.S. educational institution (kindergarten through graduate school) in the United States.
- demonstrate an on-going commitment to their community by performing unpaid volunteer services impacting hunger in the United States within the last 12 months or longer. Volunteer services must help non-family members.
