About the Scholarship
The Foundation of AFWA Undergraduate Scholarship is established in 1938 only for those female students who are pursuing finance and accounting-related courses as full time for promoting the professional growth and increase the opportunity for their career in accounts and finance. This award is awarded by the organization The Foundation of AFWA Undergraduate Scholarship.
How to apply for the scholarship?
Applications are available on the official website The Foundation of AFWA Undergraduate Scholarship and all the applicants must access the online application in order to apply for this scholarship.
A student must submit the Official scorecards of ACT/SAT to demonstrate the completion of the graduation semester as well as academic performance.
In addition to that applicant must write and submit an essay on career plan on 150 to 250 words.
All the official transcripts and documents should be submitted before the deadline.
The awarded amount of the scholarship:
- The amount awarded for this scholarship in order to assist the applicants is $1467 per year and is non-renewable.
The number of awards awarded to the eligible candidates per year varies depends on the number of eligible candidates applied for this scholarship and the availability of fund amount.
Deadline for the scholarship:
- The deadline for this scholarship is the 1st of April.
The applicant must be a resident of the US.
The applicant must be a female candidate.
The candidate's cumulative college grade point should be an average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale or the equivalent.
She must have completed her sophomore year of college or higher (or 60 credit hours or the equivalent) at the time of the application deadline. The scholarship is intended to support the costs of attending the third, fourth, or fifth years of study.
The applicant's major subject must be accounting or finance.
