About the Scholarship
TheTrina M. Batchelor Memorial Scholarship was established by the Winston Salem Foundation by Stephen P. Batchelor in memory of his wife, Trina M in the year 2013.
Batchelor started this scholarship award with the motive to provide scholarships to graduating high school seniors in Forsyth County to help them pursue the education fo their dream with zero financial burden.
In order to receive the scholarship award, a student must demonstrate the financial need that he or she is facing with respect to pursuing academic studies.
Scholarship Application Procedure
In order to apply for the scholarship award, You must first create an online account with the official website and start the online application form with all the supporting documents.
A student must prove that they really are in need of financial assistance by providing their financial status documents.
Additionally, an applicant must submit an official transcript of a school where he or she is enrolled in to demonstrate their excellence in academics.
Additionally, he/she must give a recommendation letter from the faculty member and a signed copy of the parents' federal tax returns from the previous year.
Award Amount and Deadline
The scholarship total award amounts to $1500 to all qualified students. This fund is not limited and is available to everyone who demonstrates outstanding academics.
All the above-mentioned documents must be sent along with the application form no later than 15th December 2019 to be eligible to receive the scholarship amount.
Candidates should be from the Winston-Salem foundations service area and should have attended Forsyth County high school.
A student must be graduating high school seniors from any recognized institution.
An applicant must be exceptional at their academics and provide the records maintaining a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above out of 4.
A recipient must demonstrate the need for financial assistance.
