About the Scholarship

Ullery Charitable Trust Fund Scholarship is authorized by the First Presbyterian Church. The church has started its first worship in the year 1885 to seek the redemptive power of Jesus Christ.

Ullery Charitable Trust Fund Scholarship was established in the year 1972 by the estate of Miss Jimmie Ullery, the trust is used to assist students pursuing full-time Christian work with the Presbyterian Church.

What are the requirements needed while applying for this scholarship?

  • Students must submit a copy of current high school transcripts and a copy of the parent's tax return from last year.

  • An essay is to be submitted describing their future plans or why they are eligible for this scholarship.

  • Three reference letters must have been submitted to referrer directly to First Presbyterian Church at least one from the teacher, one from the pastor.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be a communicant member of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.).

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

  • Must be pursuing full-time Christian work in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.).

  • Must be working toward a degree in a college, university, or seminary which is fully accredited by its regional accrediting association.

  • Must have established and maintained a satisfactory academic record (normally a 'C' grade point average).

  • This award is for U.S. students.
