About the Scholarship

This scholarship is open to Florida students who will be enrolled as college juniors or seniors in the University of North Florida College of Education and Human Services majoring in an area leading to Florida teacher certification. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and demonstrate financial need. Eligibility Criteria

This award is for U.S. students. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. Must meet admissions requirements and be accepted to the University of North Florida. Must enroll as an undergraduate junior or senior in the UNF College of Education and Human Services for the upcoming fall and spring terms. Must reside in Florida for tuition purposes. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Must major in an area leading to Florida teacher certification, with preference given to students wishing to teach in an urban school.
