About the Scholarship

The University of Arizona Wildcat Tuition Award is awarded by the University of Arizona, which existed even before Arizona was a state. Their first batch in 1895 included two females and one male. 

University of Arizona Wildcat Tuition Award is a highly decorated academic scholarship offered each year to a bunch of Arizonian high school graduates who're entering their college studies.

The scholarship award is solely depended on the applicant's academic experiences and results.


How to Apply?

The following contents need to be submitted by the applicants in order to apply for the University of Arizona Wildcat Tuition Award:

  • A completed copy of the applicant's application, which can be found online on the official website of The University of Arizona (UA).
  • The applicant's official transcripts.
  • The applicant's SAT/ACT scores.
  • An application fee of $50

The applicants are expected to submit the respective documents before the deadline date.


Scholarship Amount

The University of Arizona Wildcat Tuition Award awards renewable scholarships stretching from $2000 - $12000. The scholarship amount depends on the applicant's academic experiences and results.

The scholarship amount is renewable for up to 3 additional years, i.e. 8 semesters in total.


Deadline Information

The applicants are requested to submit the required contents before the deadline date of May 1, 2020.


Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for the applicants to apply for the University of Arizona Wildcat Tuition Award are:

  • The applicant must be a graduating high school senior and be planning to attend college for the first time in the fall.

  • The applicant must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

  • The applicant must be classified as an Arizona resident for tuition purposes.

  • The applicant must have a grade point average of 3.25 or higher.

  • The applicant must have an ACT score of 24 or higher OR an SAT score of 1110 or higher (critical reading and math only).

  • The applicant must plan to attend the University of Arizona.

  • The applicant must plan to complete 30 UA units per academic year.

  • The applicant must be a U.S. student.
