About the Scholarship

This "University of Richmond International Student Need-Based Scholarship" is for needy non-U.S students and awarded by the organization the University of Richmond. this scholarship gives assistance to the need-based full-time undergraduate students for their studies.


 How to apply for the scholarship?

  • Applications are available on the official website 'the University of Richmond' and all the applicants must access the online application in order to apply for this scholarship.

  • A student must submit a Richmond Supplement form and have to submit an entry fee of $50 or an acceptable fee waiver form.
  • Applicant must have to submit FAFSA certificate.
  • A student must submit the Official scorecards of ACT/SAT or TOEFL scores for those applicants whose native language is not English.

  • A student must also submit a recommendation letter from a guidance counsellor or school officials. one must be from a faculty member, administrator, chapter advisor or employer.

  • He/she has to submit high school transcripts about 9-11 grades.


    The awarded amount for the scholarship:

    The amount awarded for this scholarship is $46,400 per year and is renewable for all years. The number of awards given to the eligible candidates is five to seven.


    Deadline for the scholarship:

    The deadline for this scholarship is the 1st of February.


Eligibility Criteria

The applicant must be a full-time student.

He/she has to attend a college or university in Virginia.

He/she should be a high school senior to apply for this freshman year award.

He/she should plan to attend the University of Richmond in Virginia.
