About the Scholarship

This scholarship is open to Delaware high school seniors who plan to pursue a degree or professional designation in agriculture (preferred) or education. Students must participate in 4-H, FFA, or other community service activities; students in the top 10 percent of their class are not eligible. Application requirements for the V. George & Jeannette M. Eligibility Criteria

This award is for U.S. students. Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen. Must be a graduating high school senior. Must be a resident of Delaware. Preference is given to those residing within Representative Carey's 36th Legislative District, comprising areas of Ellendale, Lewes, Lincoln, Milford, Milton, and Slaughter Beach. Must enroll as a full-time undergraduate student in the fall of the year in which the scholarships are awarded. Must pursue a degree or professional designation in an agriculture- or education-related field. Agriculture fields will be given preference.
