About the Scholarship
The scholarship is awarded by the Wichita Falls Area Community Foundation. The Wichita County Jr. Livestock Association Scholarship is awarded yearly to local area high school students who are active and involved 4H and FFA members. The selections will be made based on factors including academic performance, 4H and FFA involvement, performance on the Supervised Agricultural Experiences, interest in pursuing an agricultural career, and financial need. To accept the award, the applicants must participate in two consecutive Supervised Agricultural Experiences and must attend the Wichita County Livestock Show Sale.
How to apply for the scholarship?
- Interested applicants should first register with the Wichita Falls Community Foundation scholarship portal.
Applicants must then complete the online application form.
Upon completion of the application form, applicants will be notified of which individual scholarships they're eligible for, and also about the additional requirements needed for applying

How much the scholarship award amounts to?
The award amounts to $1,000 yearly and is non-renewable.
One award is offered yearly.
The deadline date is set for November 29
The applicant must be a high school student at the time of application.
Must be a member of 4H or the Future Farmers of America.
Must reside in and attend school in Wichita Falls, Texas.
