About the Scholarship

The institution providing this humongous opportunity is the Prestigious Wingate University. The award is only open for the qualified undergraduate students who are admitted into the  Wingate University's Main Campus. After admission to the University, the academic credentials of each student are evaluated to determine the eligibility of the scholarship. The Office of Admissions notifies the students about the scholarship award.

The following scholarships are accessible by the following programs.

the Irwin Belk Scholarship, generally awarded to the students with a weighted evaluation point normal of 4.2 or higher, position in the top 10 percent of their group, and a SAT score of 1950 or higher (or ACT score of 30 or higher); the Trustee Scholarship, granted to students with a weighted average grade point normal of 4.2 or higher; the Presidential Scholarship, granted to students with a weighted evaluation point normal of 3.6 or higher; the Academic Merit Scholarship, granted to understudies with a weighted average point normal of 3.0 or higher; and the Gateway Scholarship, granted to student based on showed accomplishment and contribution.


Application guidelines:

  •  Official high school transcripts or GED scores (homeschool transcripts must be notarized).

  • Official ACT or SAT scores

  • Candidates will receive the admission result with 2 weeks after the completion of the admission form.


Award amount:

Awards range from $10,000 to $25,000 every year, renewable for a limit of four years of undergrad study. Recipients must be able to maintain satisfactory progress standards as prescribed by the individual scholarship criteria.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Being a US Citizen is mandatory.

  • Candidates are supposed to be intended freshmen.

  • He/she must have been enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student.

  • The average GPA should be 3.0 or higher.

  • The award is only open for US students.
