About the Scholarship

This award is available to Wisconsin resident undergraduate and graduate students who are attending a Wisconsin college or university which offers teaching degrees. The student must be a minority, be enrolled in a program leading to teaching licensure, and have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher. Eligibility Criteria

This award is for U.S. students. Must be a resident of Wisconsin. Must be enrolled in a program leading to teaching licensure. Must be a current college junior, senior or graduate student. Must be a minority student. For purposes of this award, a minority student is defined as a student who is either an African American; American Indian; Hispanic; or Southeast Asian from Laos, Cambodia or Vietnam admitted to the United States after Dec. 31, 1975. Must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher. Must be enrolled on a half-time basis or greater. Must be enrolled at an eligible independent or University of Wisconsin institution.
