About the Scholarship

This award is available to Wisconsin residents who are classified as a minority and are undergraduate students enrolled in degree or certificate programs at Wisconsin Technical College, independent colleges and universities, or tribal colleges based in Wisconsin. Awards are based on financial need. Application requirements for the Wisconsin Minority Undergraduate Retention Grant are:Nomination FAFSA

Eligibility Criteria

This award is for U.S. students. Must be a minority student. For the purposes of this award, a minority student is defined as a student who is either an African American; American Indian; Hispanic or Southeast Asian from Laos, Cambodia or Vietnam admitted to the United States after Dec. 31, 1975. Must be a resident of Wisconsin. Must be enrolled on a half-time basis or greater. Must be a U.S citizen or eligible non-citizen. Must attend an eligible independent, tribal, or technical college in Wisconsin.
