This course is mainly designed for undergraduate students or freshmen. The University aims at establishing the foundation very strong that's why the freshmen admission track is so popular. To apply for Freshmen Admission Process you need to do the following:

  • Submit the online application form and pay $60 as an admission fee.

  • Must submit a High School Transcript or any other alternate test scores.Although EWU is test-optional. This means you don’t have to submit test scores if you’d prefer not to. However, you can submit any valid test score which is accountable such as a recommendation letter from a current teacher or counselor or evidence of rigorous high school coursework such as AP, IB, CLEP, or Cambridge courses. High school rank and evidence of college success as a College in the High School student as demonstrated by GPAs of 2.5 for college-level English or 2.5 for college-level math are also accepted.

  • One must comply with satisfactory SAT (use code 4301) or ACT (use code 4454)scorecards.

  • A letter of Recommendation is necessary for the application process.

  • The verification period is usually a week or more long, once the candidate becomes eligible for admission, he/she is called for counseling sessions.

  • Series of counseling and meetings to decide which program and field of study would be the best for the student.

  • Complete the FAFSA form in case applying for Financial Aid and choose the medium of assistance.

  • Finally payment of the Net Price and attend the class.


Transfer Students Admission Process

EWU offers course transfer program admissions as well. There is no upper limit for the number of courses one can apply for but they must have 90 lower-division quarter credits qualified by the department of one’s major subject. For the transfer, program one needs to fulfill the following criteria:

  • Complete at least a 40 hour semester including English Composition, Mathematics, and Science. 

  • Pay for the Application fee and submit all the official transcripts of all the attended schools.

  • Moreover, the college or the institution from which one is applying for a transfer must have a valid accreditation under the National Accreditation Association of America.

  • The rest of the process is exactly similar to that of a freshman admission process.


Graduate Admission Process

The Graduate Program is well known for its high Return Of Investments(ROI) report. International Students Admission Process

The University demands very high academic records. It has very high requirements for admission test scores, generally admitting students who score in the top 76 percent. Although the admission process is varied for almost all the programs, however, the admission requirements are more or less common for all. The pre-requisites of EWU is kept extremely simple and moderately attainable. The following are the general requirements for getting into EWU are:

  • The application form must be filled at the official portal of Eastern Washington University within the application deadline and the application fee for $60must be paid beforehand. Note: The fee waiver is accepted if the student has appeared for the first time in the SAT /ACT examination.

  • The SAT/ACT and average GPA must be as per the minimum aggregate requirement by the University.

  • Official High school transcripts or alternative test-scores must be submitted by the students.

  • Proof of participation in any pre-college courses should be mentioned while submitting documents for verification.

  • For postgraduate courses, one must submit proof of graduation.
