The student should have passed the high school level and been awarded a high school diploma or its equivalent. Apart from the academic requirements and English proficiency, the student must pass a criminal background check conducted by the college prior to the start of college. The fee for this criminal background check is non-refundable. Students will also be working in a practical setting in hospitals and as a result, will also have to go through a health checkup. 

A list of requirements is provided to the student before the health check-up and the student must test negative for a myriad of diseases including Hepatitis B virus (HBV), Tetanus, Diphtheria, and other numerous diseases.
