Goodwin College follows a simple application and admission process that includes a total of 4 steps, which are as follows: Step 1: Submitting the application The first step in GC's admission procedure is applying to the university. Interested candidates can either apply online or by calling the college at (860) 528-4111. Alternatively, they can also directly visit the university's admissions office at One Riverside Drive, East Hartford, Connecticut 06118. Students wishing to take admission at Goodwin College can also directly contact its admissions office by phone. Step 2 to the application and admission process: Acceptance by GC After an applicant has submitted their form and deposited the enrollment fee, they would be required to submit certain documents to receive an admission decision. For Goodwin College, it is suggested that an applicant submits the following documents: Essay: Sometimes known as the personal statement, the essay submitted by an applicant offers them a unique way to showcase their achievements and personality. Also, applicants are advised to include personal experiences as well as anecdotes. Transcripts: Submitting the necessary high-school and college transcripts is an important part of the evaluation process. An applicant can use Parchment (or similar platforms) to submit the same. Official Test Scores: By submitting SAT or ACT scores, a candidate can make a stronger claim for securing a seat at Goodwin College. Notably, it is not a mandatory requirement and not all students submit their scores. However, additional documents or information may be requested once the applications are reviewed. Step 3: Confirm Your Attendance The candidates have to confirm their attendance to Goodwin College to complete the third step. Additionally, they will be required to complete their Financial Check-In process and select their housing as well. These processes include reviewing and verifying the summary of Accounts and Financial Aid (scholarships, fees, and tuition costs), choosing a lodging option, selecting a payment plan, and making the first payment as well. Candidates will be required to complete the Math and English assessments before proceeding to register for classes. Step 4 includes registration for classes The candidates have to register for courses once all the processes mentioned above are completed.

The applicants will also be required to deposit an application fee of $50 along with submitting the required documents and information. The deadline to apply to the varsity depends on various factors. The Fall applications that start in September and go on till April are the most preferred among students. Though the final deadline is in April, a September deadline has also been fixed which pertains to early decisions. In case a student wants scholarships, they will have to apply before the early deadline, which is why early application is recommended.
