The admissions process at SHC is simple and easy to help student get into the institution without any burden.
To apply for enrollment, the student submits the completed application to the Director of Admissions.
- The student is requested to submit their high school transcript, or a copy of a high school diploma, or a GED, HiSET, or TASC for an associate’s or bachelor’s degree, be sent to the Director of Admissions.
- Foreign students applying for admission are required to submit transcripts that are carefully translated and evaluated. To request an application from the Admission Department, students can always call, write, or fax the department.
- Upon completion of the application and an interview with an Admissions staff member, the Director of Admissions will review the applicant’s goals.
Undergraduate Application Process

With an Associate’s degree, applicants earn all the respect and recognition he/she deserves. If applicants choose to continue with their education later, the institute will apply the applicant’s Associate’s credits for a big head start toward their Bachelor’s degree. Whereas for the bachelor’s programs SHC could help applicants launch or expand the career they have always wanted. The institute offers 6 Bachelor's degrees which can be completed in as few as 36 months.

- Applicants for admission must have graduated from an accredited high school, private secondary school, or have completed the equivalent (GED, HiSET, or TASC).
- Foreign students are requested to get their high school transcripts translated and evaluated through credible sources. Applicants must pay tuition in advance if they do not qualify for financial assistance programs.
However, applicants must also go through the website for some additional admission requirements for programs such as the Associate Degree in Nursing Education & Surgical Technologist Program.
International Students
International applicants to all undergraduate programs must provide an official or attested transcript of completed high school work translated into English and certified to be at least equivalent to the credential required by the college in its admissions criteria. This policy also applies to any student with previous education completed outside of the United States.
All international applicants must provide proof of financial support in one of the following forms:
- Copy of current bank statement
- Letter of support from a sponsor with a copy of his or her current bank statement
- I-34 (U.S. Sponsor) with a copy of his or her bank statement.
The funds must be in U.S. currency or the equivalent. If an applicant plans on bringing dependents (spouse/children) to the United States, the applicant must add an additional $8,000 per family member over and above the minimum financial support amount.
Proof of English Proficiency
All international applicants must provide evidence of English proficiency in one of the following ways:
- Minimum TOEFL score of 550 or 213 computer-based or 79 IBT based
- A minimum score of 6.0 on IELTS
- A minimum score of 53 on the PTE - Academic test.
If Applicants do not meet the English proficiency cut-off score they may apply for the English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program. Graduates of the EAP program are eligible for admission into a degree program. To meet the English Language admission requirement, international students need to score at least 80% grade in EAP 300.
All applicants must provide a copy of their passport.
All applicants who are planning to bring a spouse and/ or children must also provide a copy of their spouse and/or children’s passport.
