University of Mobile follows a simple application and admission process involving a total of 4 steps that are as follows: Step 1 that a prospective candidate needs to complete: Submitting the application The first step which a candidate is required to make for admission at University of Mobile is applying to the university. To apply to the university, interested candidates can either call the university at (251) 675-5990 or do it through online mode to secure admission. Alternatively, they can also directly visit the university's admissions office at 5735 College Parkway Drive, Mobile, Alabama 36613-2842. Otherwise, they can contact University of Mobile's admissions office by phone in order to take admission. Step 2 to the application and admission process: Acceptance by UM After submission of the form and deposition of the enrollment fee, an applicant has to submit certain documents, to receive an admission decision. In the case of University of Mobile, an applicant has to submit the following documents: Essay: This is also known as the personal statement, it offers applicants to list their achievements and personality. Applicants are advised to include personal experiences and anecdotes as well. Transcripts: As a part of the evaluation process, candidates have to submit necessary high-school and university transcripts. An applicant can submit the transcripts through Parchment (or similar platforms). Official Test Scores: By submitting the official scores, students can make a stronger claim for a seat at University of Mobile. However, it is not a mandatory requirement and not all students submit their scores. However, additional documents or information may be requested once the applications are reviewed. In Step 3, the candidate needs to confirm their attendance As part of the Step 3 in the admission process, the candidates must confirm their attendance to University of Mobile. The candidates will be required to complete their Financial Check-In process and select their housing, too. These processes include reviewing and verifying the summary of Accounts and Financial Aid (scholarships, fees, and tuition costs), choosing a lodging option, selecting a payment plan, and making the first payment as well. Apart from submitting the documents and other required information, the candidates should also deposit an application fee of $25. The deadline to apply to the varsity depends on various factors. The Fall applications that start in September and go on till April are the most preferred among students. Though the final deadline is in April, a September deadline has also been fixed which pertains to early decisions. In case a student wants scholarships, they will have to apply before the early deadline, which is why early application is recommended.
