About the Scholarship

This scholarship is available for high school seniors and full time undergraduate students in Birmingham, AL who are majoring in engineering with an interest in the steel and iron industries. Applicants must be AIST members or dependents of AIST members to apply for this award. Eligibility Criteria

Must be a member of the Birmingham AIST or the child (natural, step, adopted, or ward) or spouse of a member in good standing, of the AIST Birmingham Member Chapter. Must be majoring in engineering. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident. This award is for U.S. students. Must plan to pursue a career in the steel and iron industry. Must be a high school senior or undergraduate at the time of application.
