About the Scholarship
This award is available to Alaska resident high school students who are planning to attend an eligible postsecondary institution in Alaska. The student must complete a required APS high school curriculum and meet various qualifying ACT/SAT, GPA, and WorkKeys scores. Application requirements for the Alaska Performance Scholarship are:FAFSA
Eligibility Criteria
Must be a resident of Alaska. Must graduate from an Alaska high school (public, private, or home school). Must complete a rigorous high school curriculum and achieve a high school GPA of at least 2.5, or equivalent. Must display financial need of at least $500 after using all other non-loan aid (e.g. federal grants or other scholarships). Must earn a minimum score on college or career readiness test (21 on the ACT, 1210 on the SAT), or achieve a combined score of at least 13 in all three WorkKeys tests, with no score lower than 4.
