About the Scholarship

U.S. and Canadian citizens who are pursuing master's degrees in library and information studies at ALA-accredited library schools are eligible for this award; students may not have completed more than 12 hours toward the degree at time of application. Applicants must plan to work in a library in an area of service to children. Eligibility Criteria

This award is for international and U.S. students. Must plan to work in a library in an area of service to children. Must have applied to an eligible ALA-accredited library school and be accepted by June of the award year. A listing of eligible schools is available at www.ala.org/accreditedprograms/directory/ . Must be a U.S. citizen or a Canadian citizen. Must be pursuing a master's degree in library and information studies.
