About the Scholarship

The Scholarship Program focuses on providing funds on need-based to the students who are in great economical burden in the Triangle area. The scholarship is awarded to a certificate program, associate degree, or an initial bachelor's degree. The award amount which covers the tuition cost, college fees, books. In order to receive this fund, an applicant must demonstrate the financial position of their family with respect to education.


How to Apply for Scholarship?

  • In order to apply for this scholarship, an applicant must complete the FAFSA application form which generates Student Aid Report.

  • An applicant must submit an official high school transcript showing seven semesters or a GED. If an applicant is a college student, he/she must submit official transcripts of college which must show the currently studying semester.

  • An applicant is a high school senior, he/she must submit an official scorecard of ACT/SAT.

  • In addition to that, a student must upload a copy of their parent's income tax form.

  • Finally, an applicant must provide two letters of recommendation from high school or college.


Award Amount and Deadline:

Scholarship award ranges from $1000 to $7500 to any number of applicants, and it is non-renewable.

All applicants need to submit their scholarship application on or before 1st March 2020.


Eligibility Criteria

  • Students should be graduating High School Seniors.

  • Recipients should live in the Research Triangle area.

  •  Recipients should plan to enroll as freshmen at any of North Carolina’s post-secondary educational or technical institutions.

  • Students should have at least grade point averages of 2.5.
