About the Scholarship
The students whose parents or grandparents who are members of the American Military Retirees Association (AMRA) are provided financial assistance while pursuing postsecondary education.
The Bernard E. Dillon Vocational Skills Scholarship is a memorial scholarship program awarded to students on the basis of academic and extracurricular achievements, leadership qualities and participation in community service.
The scholarship recipients are selected based on certain eligibility criteria set by the Scholarship Committee of the association.
Bernard E. Dillon Vocational Skills Scholarship Awards
The scholarship program offers an amount of $1000 to 5 eligible applicants.
The applicant must be enrolled in an accredited vocational or technical schools for postsecondary education after graduating high school.

The completed application consists of the following important documents:
The application form available on the official website of the association must be completed with all the required details.
An essay of around 750 words.
3 letters of recommendation.
A high school transcript.
The applicants of the scholarship are advised to go through the information and guidelines given on the official website before starting the application process.
Bernard E. Dillon Vocational Skills Scholarship Application Deadline
The completed applications must be submitted to the scholarship committee of the association by March 1st without fail.
Any applications received past the deadline or incomplete applications will not be considered.
The applicant must be a current member of AMRA or the spouse, dependent child, or grandchild of a current member.
The applicant must be enrolled at an accredited/licensed vocational-technical institution.
