About the Scholarship
The scholarship is awarded by the Calvin College, a Christian academic community dedicated to rigorous intellectual inquiry. The university fosters scholarships that create new knowledge, that perform creative work, and that sustains natural and cultural resources. This grant was established to assist promising students in the field of architecture. The goal of this scholarship is to encourage women and minorities to consider architecture as a profession
How to apply for the scholarship?
The applicant should complete the application which is available on the Calvin College site.
Along with the application, the applicant should also submit academic transcripts, a resume, and FAFSA.
How much the scholarship award amounts to?
The award amounts to $2,300 yearly and is renewable.
The number of awards offered varies each year.
The deadline date is set for February 1
A student must be entering sophomore, junior, or senior year.
A student must have an interest in pursuing a profession in architecture. Students pursuing a major in engineering with a civil and environmental concentration may also be considered.
A student should demonstrate financial need.
