About the Scholarship

Charles Clarke Cordle Memorial Scholarship is accredited by the American Radio Relay League (ARRL) Foundation, Inc. The foundation is the national association for Amateur Radio in the US. ARRL is a noncommercial organization of radio amateurs.

The Charles Clarke Cordle Memorial Scholarship is provided to students in Alabama and Georgia who have an amateur radio license.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be a resident of Georgia or Alabama.

  • Must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher.

  • Must attend a college or university in Georgia or Alabama.

  • Must be a high school senior or older to apply for this undergraduate and graduate award.

  • Must be a licensed radio amateur (any class).

  • Preference will be given to students majoring in electronics, communications, or related fields.

  • This award is for international and U.S. students.
