The Connecticut Independent College Student Grant Program is awarded to the students who are interested to pursue post-secondary education in the state of Connecticut. The students of Connecticut state are assisted by this scholarship to pursue their higher academic education. an applicant who demonstrates good academic scores and the financial burden of a family with respect to education will receive this scholarship opportunity.
How to Apply for Scholarship?
In order to apply for this scholarship, all applicants need to fill and submit the FAFSA application form, which clearly demonstrates the financial need.
- After completion of FAFSA, an applicant will get SAR and EFC which illustrates the financial position of a student.
In addition to FAFSA, an applicant must also produce ACT/SAT scorecards to illustrate academic performance.

The scholarship is provided to state residents enrolled as full-time or part-time matriculated students in undergraduate degree-granting programs at independent colleges and universities in Connecticut.
A student should be eligible for substantial financial need, as determined by the federal need analysis formula.
