About the Scholarship

This scholarship is available for undergraduate and graduate students who are majoring in agriculture, science, medicine, or nursing and have a grade point average of 2.7 or higher. Students must be residents of the Hilo Coast and the Hamakua Coast, north of the Wailuku River, in Hawaii. Eligibility Criteria

This award is for U.S. students. Must be a resident of the Hilo Coast and the Hamakua Coast, north of the Wailuku River, in Hawaii. Must major in agriculture, science, medicine or nursing. Must attend or plan to attend an accredited two- or four-year college or university as a full-time student (12 credits per semester for undergraduate; 9 credits per semester for graduate). Must demonstrate academic achievement with a grade point average of 2.7 or higher. Must be a U.S. citizen.
