About the Scholarship

The American Indian College Fund awards scholarship to the American Indian and Alaska Native college students studying U.G and graduate degree in Tribal College and Universities and All non-profit accredited schools. A student must be an enrolled member of a federal or state-recognized tribe or a descendant of at least one grandparent or parent who is an enrolled tribe member. The foundation helps community people to overcome their economical burden by providing financial assistance.

How to Apply for Scholarship?

  • A student must upload a document proof of tribal enrollment of ID/CIB or a document of descendency.

  • In addition to that, an applicant must submit a birth certificate which demonstrates the descendency.

  • An applicant must submit the most recent official transcripts of college. If an applicant is a high school student, he/she needs to submit official transcripts of the school or GED scorecard.

  • In addition to that, An applicant must upload a digital photo, which should be in 1.5MB size.

What is the Total Amount Awarded?

The Scholarship awards $3000 per year to any number of applicants, And it is non-renewable.

The Scholarship application starts from January 1st to till May 31. A student must apply to this scholarship before the deadline is mentioned.



Eligibility Criteria

  • This is the awarded provided online to the male students.

  • Applicants must serve as mentors and role models to encourage other American Indian men to pursue a course in higher education.

  • An applicant must actively recruit other American Indian men to attend college.
