About the Scholarship
SWE Scholarship has established Dorothy Lemke Howarth Memorial Scholarship in the year 1992 to help and support women pursuing ABET-accredited bachelor or graduate student programs in preparation for careers in engineering, engineering technology and computer science in the United States. The financial need and U.S citizenship is major concern in order to acquire this fund.
How to Apply for Scholarship?
An applicant must create an account with the username and password in order to access the scholarship application form. A student must fill and submit it to the financial aid division.
A student must submit the current official transcripts from all schools that he/she has attended, and a letter of acceptance to an ABET-accredited college or university and a resume.
An applicant must provide two recommendation letters, one letter must be from a teacher or college professor in a STEM field who is familiar with the student's work. The other letter must be from a person who has known the student for two or more years and who is not a relative or member of the student's family.
Award Amount and Deadline:
The SWE Organization is funding $3,666 per annum to six eligible applicants. And it is non-renewable.
All the official documents and online scholarship applications must be submitted no later than 15th February 2020.
- An applicant must be a female junior or senior student.
A student must be a full-time student.
An applicant must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
The recipients must major in any engineering field or engineering technology.
Applicants must be legal residents of the U.S.
