About the Scholarship

International and U.S. high school seniors and current undergraduate and graduate students who are current federal civilian employees or the dependents (spouse or child) of such an employee are eligible for this award. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Eligibility Criteria

This award is for international and U.S. students. Must have a cumulative, unweighted grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale. Current college freshmen must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher for the fall 2015 semester. Must plan to enroll in a two- or four-year accredited undergraduate, graduate, or post-graduate degree program as a part-time or full-time student. Employee applicants may be enrolled part time, but dependents must be enrolled full time. Must be a college freshman or higher by the upcoming fall semester. Must be a current civilian federal employee OR the dependent of such a person (child or spouse). The employee must have three or more years of service by Aug. 31, 2016. Past active-duty time will count toward this requirement if included in the service comp. date on the Standard Form 50.
