About the Scholarship

FIDM National Scholarship Competition is accredited by the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. FIDM came into existence in 1969. FIDM's engaging learning environment and rigorous programs of study develop graduates who become leaders in the industries of global design and business. FIDM's National Scholarship Competition scholarships are given to those students who spark their minds and be creative thinkers and have an "eye" for unconventional thinking.


How to apply for FIDM National Scholarship Competition?

  • The student has to complete Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be able to apply or receive this financial aid.

  • This scholarship is only open to High School Seniors and Graduates from the U.S. Current and former FIDM Students are not eligible.

  • the students must submit a project according to the guidelines set within the category of the student's choice.

 

FIDM National Scholarship Competition award amounts to

  • This scholarship provides one-year full tuition fees to those who attain any FIDM location.

  • This scholarship award offers more than 30 awards annually including 8 one year full tuition fees.

 

Deadline information

  • The students must submit their applications with other required application forms by the end of March 29, 2020. Entry forms are available online from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) website.

Eligibility Criteria

  • FIDM's National Scholarship Competition looks for students who are creative thinkers and have an "eye" for unconventional thinking.

  • A winner is picked within each category based on creativity, thoughtfulness, presentation, and promise.
