About the Scholarship
The "Florida Engineering Foundation University Scholarships" award is given by the organization 'Florida Engineering Society' and was established in 1986 to support, assist and encourage the students who are going to make their career in engineering and interested in volunteering in Florida. This organization wanted to educate people of Florida as an engineering background.
How to apply for the scholarship?
Applications are available on the official website 'Florida Engineering Society' and all the applicants must access the online application in order to apply for this scholarship.
- The applicant has to submit an official transcript by an engineering faculty member.
- A student must submit a recommendation letter from an engineering faculty member.
- Applicant must have to submit FAFSA certificate.
A student must submit the Official scorecards of ACT/SAT to demonstrate the completion of the graduation semester as well as academic performance.
- A student has to submit the CSS profile and if his/her parents got divorced or separated then both father and mother should be complete the CSS profile.
In addition to all the above documents applicant have to submit in a sealed envelope separately before the deadline to the foundation of this scholarship.
The awarded amount for the scholarship:
The amount awarded for this scholarship is $3,000 per year and is non-renewable. The number of awards given to the eligible candidates four.
Deadline for the scholarship:
The deadline for the scholarship is the 9th of February.
The applicant must reside in the U.S.
He/she must live in Florida and must be a full-timer at Florida college or university.
The test score of the SAT (600 math, 500 verbal) or the ACT (26 math, 21 English) is mandatory for this scholarship.
He/she should have to be a high school senior at the time of applied for this scholarship.
He/she must have to enrol in an engineering program accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET.
His/her grade point must be an average of 3.0 or higher.
He/she should have to complete graduate from a Florida high school where he/she has attended for at least one semester.
