About the Scholarship
The "Florida Engineering Society Scholarship for High School Seniors" scholarship award is awarded by the organization 'Florida Engineering Society'. This organization was established in 1986 and was started assisting those students who were pursuing engineering careers and to educate the public about engineering. This award's amount direct goes to the college or university's account.
How to apply for the scholarship?
Applications are available on the official website 'Florida Engineering Society' and all the applicants must access the online application in order to apply for this scholarship.
- The applicant has to submit a copy of his/her AP or IB test results.
- He/she has to submit two resumes one in Excel sheet in CD and another in paper copy.
- Applicant must have to submit FAFSA certificate.
A student must submit the Official scorecards of ACT/SAT to demonstrate the completion of the graduation semester as well as academic performance.
He/she has to submit official high school transcripts including grade points of his/her 10th, 11th, and the first semester of 12th-grade years.
The awarded amount for the scholarship:
The amount awarded for this scholarship is $2,500 per year and is non-renewable. The number of awards given to the eligible candidates is one and is given to the college or university's account directly not given to the applicants or their parents.
Deadline for the scholarship:
The deadline for the scholarship is the 9th of February.
The applicant must reside in the U.S.
The test score of the SAT (600 math, 500 verbal) or the ACT (26 math, 21 English) is mandatory for this scholarship.
He/she should have to be a high school senior at the time of applied for this scholarship.
He/she must have to enrol in an engineering program accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET.
His/her grade point must be an average of 3.5 or higher.
He/she should have to complete graduate from a Florida high school where he/she has attended for at least one semester.
