About the Scholarship

This award is available to Florida undergraduate students who are planning to attend an eligible Florida college, university, career center, or educator preparation institute. Students must have a grade point average of 2.0 or higher and demonstrate financial need. Application requirements for the Florida Work Experience Program (FWEP) are:FAFSA

Eligibility Criteria

This award is for U.S. students. Must be a U.S. citizen or an eligible non-citizen. Must be a resident of Florida. Must enroll in six or more credit hours (or the equivalent clock hours, or a half-time basis) per term. Must attend a participating Florida college or university, career center, or educator preparation institute. A list of eligible institutions is available at www.floridastudentfinancialaidsg.org/home/PostSecondaryInstitutions.asp. Must have earned a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or higher. Must be enrolled or plan to enroll in an associate's or baccalaureate degree program, a career certificate program, or an educator preparation institute program.
