About the Scholarship
David. T. Woolsey Scholarship is established in memory of David T. Woolsey, who is an alumnus of California Polytechnic University and former principal in the firm of Woolsey, Miyabara, and Associates, provides funds for educational or professional development purposes. LAF helps and encourages the student's outstanding performance in both academics as well as other community services through this award. The foundation rewards the opportunity to excellent students for their academic study, encourage diversity, support original research. The scholarship program also assists and works hard towards reducing a student's burden to pay for their education.
How to Apply for Scholarship?
A student must create an account to access the Hawaii Chapter/David T. Woolsey Scholarship application form. and he/she must submit an application through LAF's online application system.
In order to show their academic performance and ability, a student must submit related official transcripts to the financial aid.
In addition to that, an applicant must submit a current official college transcript where he/she is studying to prove their excellence in academics.
Award Amount and Deadline:
The Foundation is awarding $2000 to one applicant annually and is non-renewable.
All the applications and documents must be submitted to the institution on or before 1st February to be eligible for the scholarship.
Applicants should be third, fourth, or fifth-year undergraduate or graduate students of landscape architecture at Landscape Architecture Accreditation Board (LAAB) accredited programs.
A student should be a permanent resident in Hawaii.
An application must be a legal resident of United States or an eligible non-US citizen.
